The Reworked TR-909 Sample Pack

Combining both forward and backward thinking, this TR-909 sample pack contains the original TR-909 sounds with modern analogue EQing and compression placed alongside genuine TR-909 samples that have been pushed through an 8-bit bit-crusher.

It’s a new world and a sample pack that's full of a juxtaposition of sounds that are normally generic and common but now sound either modern or unrecognizable depending on the musician’s choice of sample.

What's included?

The kit includes 250 Roland TR-909 samples with a difference.

  • 20 Unique Bass Tones

About the Roland TR-909

Launched in 1983, only 10,000 units were produced in it's relatively short lifespan of just over a year yet is considered the defacto king of Electronic Dance Music drums. Particularly the kicks, from House, Techno, Trance, Electro and many other genres.

It was based on an all analogue design with stereo master output and individual mono channel outputs and built in sequencer.

Combining a punchy analogue sound with crisp attentive highs and was the first Roland drum machine to feature MIDI and is considered a dance floor classic.

This is your opportunity to own a piece of Electronic Musics history with a distinctively gnarly edge injected into it. Dare to be different?

A respectful nod to the past while simultaneously launching you into the future

First, can we talk about how many samples you get for £3.64? 250?! INSANE.

Putting cost aside, the samples themselves are incredibly varied. From the dirt riseth the bass tones, and yet they are balanced by the crispness of the snares.

It is obvious that this producer is passionate about the music they create. I'll keep coming back for sure.

Thank you!
